Last week, the Australian Financial Review interviewed Principal Darrel Causbrook to find out how COVID-19 has impacted our firm and our clients. Much of the media’s focus has been on the negative effects of the virus, however, as with all major disruptive events, some of the changes brought about have been positive:
A shift to remote working amid the COVID-19 outbreak has allowed Sydney-based accounting firm Causbrooks to provide better service to clients while giving staff increased control of their workload.
That's because the lockdown forced the four-partner firm, led by principal Darrel Causbrook, to finally move their accounting systems into the cloud.
"We've become a cloud-based practice. Clients can transfer documents to us with security, we can work offsite and gain access to documentation. It's all real-time," Mr Causbrook said.
